Terms of Service

1. Scope of Service
Maai® Machines, operated by 2555 Ventures LLC, provides configuration and setup services only. We install and configure open-source, third-party software on hardware you own or hardware we source on your behalf. We do not develop, own, or warrant any AI model, agent framework, or software tool installed during the setup process. All software installed is developed and maintained by independent third parties.
2. Customer Responsibility
After handoff, you are solely responsible for all outputs, uses, and consequences of the configured AI system. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the system complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional obligations. Use of the configured system for any unlawful purpose — including but not limited to harassment, fraud, unauthorized data collection, or violation of third-party rights — is strictly prohibited.
3. AI Output Disclaimer
AI systems, including those configured by Maai® Machines, may produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or otherwise inappropriate content. Outputs generated by the configured system do not constitute legal, medical, financial, or any other form of professional advice. You must independently verify all AI-generated outputs before relying on them for any purpose. Maai® Machines makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of AI outputs for any particular use.
4. Limitation of Liability
Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim, loss, or damage arising out of or related to our services is limited to the total service fees you paid to Maai® Machines for the specific service giving rise to the claim. In no event shall 2555 Ventures LLC, its owners, employees, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability.
5. Downstream Use
Maai® Machines configures tools and hands them off. Your use of the configured system after handoff is your sole responsibility. 2555 Ventures LLC and Maai® Machines accept no liability for any downstream use of the configured system, including any outputs generated, actions taken, or consequences resulting from your use of the system after the handoff call.
6. Third-Party Software
All AI models, agent frameworks, and tools installed during your setup are open-source software developed and maintained by independent third parties. Maai® Machines makes no warranties regarding any third-party software, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Your use of third-party software is subject to the applicable open-source licenses.
7. Data Handling
During setup, we access system configuration files only — including Tailscale configuration, Ollama settings, and agent framework configuration files. We do not access, read, copy, or retain your documents, AI conversation history, personal files, or any other user data. After setup, we retain your name, email address, and a log of services performed. We do not sell or share your information with third parties.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 2555 Ventures LLC, Maai® Machines, and their respective owners, employees, and contractors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the configured system, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
9. Service Agreement
A separate service agreement must be executed before any setup work begins. No setup work will commence without a signed agreement. The service agreement will specify the scope of work, fees, timeline, and any additional terms specific to your engagement.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chatham County, Georgia.
